About Doreen Linneman
Inspired by her own passion for—and lessons from—travel, as well as more than 15 years in the professional development industry, in 2012 Doreen founded Prepare to Roar® and its proprietary adventured-based learning® methodology for individuals, teams, and groups looking to reinvigorate, accelerate, transition, establish, change, or ready themselves for launch.
Having paraglided off a mountain in Venezuela, cared for lion cubs in South Africa, climbed an ice-covered volcano in Chile, rappelled a cliff and scaled underground waterfalls in the caves of Belize, trekked Silverback Gorillas in the mists of Rwanda, zip-lined and rafted her way across Costa Rica, come face-to-face with Great White sharks off the coast of Cape Town, and shared both the land and the sea with the turtles, penguins, iguanas, and sea lions of the Galapagos, Doreen learned firsthand how travel and adventures, free of white noise and distractions, give way to intuitive, intentional, and gut-inspired learning.
It was in these precious pauses from her normally hectic life that ideas began to marinate and flow—and Doreen realized that pushing her own boundaries introduced exciting, new opportunities and challenges that resulted in both explosive and subtle growth in her professional and personal lives.

As the founder and CEO of The Riverbend Group, LLC, a people and organizational development company focused on management consulting, professional development and team building, Doreen has more than 15 years of experience in helping individuals and teams set and reach new goals, ignite change, scale success, deliver impact, and grow. Doreen and her team have worked all over the globe with Fortune 50 companies, as well as start-ups.
In Prepare to Roar, Doreen has married her experiences as courageous world traveler and deeply experienced business leader to curate expeditions that help individuals, teams, and groups realize their potential in every aspect of that word. Through the powerful combination of Doreen’s rich business acumen and expertise, travel, a tailored curriculum and expert coaching, and the time and space—figuratively and literally—for reflection, Prepare to Roar delivers adventure-based learning for personal and professional growth in any way you imagine it.
In addition to Prepare to Roar, LLC and The Riverbend Group, LLC, Doreen has founded multiple other companies and previously held leadership positions in Johnson & Johnson and SYNAVANT. Additionally, she founded two mobile technology companies.
Doreen holds a MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and a BA, with pre-Med and Chemistry concentrations, from Vanderbilt University. She is a Master Trainer in LIFO Behavior and Communication Styles and is a certified facilitator in both Quantum Negotiations and Mental Toughness.
When not circling the globe, Doreen remains dedicated to fitness and sports and is an active member at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church. She rounds out her life with being a daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and mentor.
